Product lab

Research that keeps its gates visible.

The lab prioritizes narrow problems where local inference, controlled capture, and customer-held data may create a real advantage.

Research posture

A score is a question, not a product.

Concepts are compared across customer pain, buyer clarity, sensing feasibility, data access, edge advantage, regulatory burden, support, and a credible path to validation.

No concept becomes mature because it has a detailed design or an active repository. Optical studies, representative data, partner access, workflow observation, and paid pilots remain separate evidence.

Selected directions

Narrow systems, explicit non-goals.

Initial concepts keep operators responsible for consequential decisions and avoid claims that the available sensing cannot support.

Research concept

ToolEdge Bench

Operator-assisted inspection for cutting-tool wear and damage.

A constrained industrial workstation concept combining keyed fixtures, controlled illumination, calibrated imaging, compact segmentation or classification models, and operator-reviewed evidence. Commercial, optical, and process validation remain future gates.

BoundaryNo prototype deployment, performance, or return-on-investment claim is made.
Research concept

CleanEdge Workbench

Local particle-screening support for controlled industrial workflows.

A benchtop concept for repeatable image capture, calibrated measurement, assisted review, and local evidence reporting around established sample-preparation workflows. Optical feasibility and metrology validation are explicit prerequisites.

BoundaryNo standards-conformity, material-identification, or autonomous-release claim is made.
Research concept

PrintProof Edge

On-site comparison of controlled print and packaging features.

A local inspection concept for approved references, controlled capture recipes, anomaly detection, and auditable operator decisions in print and packaging quality workflows. Access to authorized references and representative defects is a deliberate go/no-go gate.

BoundaryThe concept does not claim general authenticity verification or production maturity.
Research prototype

Solar field nodes

Power-aware sensing with local gateways for disconnected places.

A software-backed research design for low-power field nodes that wake briefly, collect compact telemetry, and return to sleep while a local gateway handles storage, rules, and heavier inference. Synthetic decoder and state-flow prototypes exist; hardware and solar validation remain pending.

BoundaryNo runtime, autonomy, range, or energy-yield claim is made before measured field evidence.

Reusable platform

Shared services. Vertical evidence.

Capture quality, device identity, inference brokering, evidence packaging, signed delivery, health monitoring, and rollback can be reused. Fixtures, labels, thresholds, references, validation, and claims remain specific to each product.

Have a vertical workflow worth testing?

The best first engagement may be a feasibility gate that prevents a larger build—not a promise to force AI into the process.
